The brolleys are back! Trinity Aberdeen is delighted to share we are taking part in the umbrella project with the ADHD foundation and Aberdeen Inspired for the 3rd year to create a beautiful colourful umbrella installation in the Centre alongside many other installations in the city centre this summer.
The Umbrella Project is such an amazing cause raising awareness and understanding of neurodiversity. Colourful umbrellas are strung together to represent the one in five of us being neurodivergent, one in sixty-seven of us on the autistic spectrum, one in twenty with ADHD or dyspraxia and one in ten with dyslexia, raising awareness and understanding for the “umbrella” term of neurodiversity.
What amazing support for the launch and it was great to see our friends at We Too! with their sensory breakout space in the Aberdeen Douglas Hotel alongside borrow bags to help make the event accessible to all. Well done, Ninjas
Trinity Aberdeen also wants you to help us celebrate local talent under the umbrellas, If you are a local performer or part of a local group who would like to come into the Centre and show off your talents for an amazing cause, let us know.
